Okay, so shortly after posting that I wouldn't be doing any nail polish swatches for a while, I found that I had this colour all photographed but not posted. So here we go!! This was from a set that my dad (bless him) bought me for Christmas and there are actually some amazing polishes in there. This surprised me mostly because my dad bought these from Matalan. Only one (but my favourite) polish here but I will do a full post of all the polishes at some point.

The pictures aren't amazing but I think you can just about see how good this is. It's an orange jelly base with small, round, gold glass flecks. I always get comments when I wear this one. In the light it looks brilliantly golden, but when it gets darker it picks up a little more of a burnt look as the emphasis is taken away from the gold particles. I LOVE THIS POLISH! The formula is mostly good, but I will do a full review on things like that when I swatch and post all the rest of the polishes.

This just shows that you can't judge a book by its cover. This was bought at Matalan, a not exactly top quality clothes shop. I didn't even know that they sold polish. In fact, I personally would never have bought these purely because they came from Matalan. My dad bought them for me though, so I had the privilege of being pleasantly surprised (in most cases).

Change for Nancy's Nails

I realised when I was arranging to go shopping with a few friends the other day that I had no money to buy anything. I have a weakness. If I see makeup at a reasonable price that I like I just have to buy it. Anyway, because of this weakness, I have not had any money to buy new polishes and all of my old ones are looking a little skanky and are not really swatchable.

I am determined, however, to keep posting on this blog. I have a lot of time on my hands since I finished school and I've already started taking pictures. I have so much makeup that I thought you might like reviews and swatches of some of it.

I will continue with polish swatches once I have some money, which should be fairly soon as my birthday is coming up. I may even redo some of my Strictly Fab-u-lous polishes, now that I've learnt a little bit more about swatching.

So, changes for Nancy's Nails, but I think this is a very good change. I love makeup just as much as I love nail polish (possibly more). Can't wait to get started!!
