Barry M Instant Nail Effects

I am in love!! I read about these polishes that shatter/crackle and I was really curious to try one out. I heard of some from OPI and China Glaze, so I was going to head down to Sally's to have a look. Only thing is, if you want to go to Sally's in Plymouth, it's right on the outside of city centre so you really have to go out of your way to go there. Anyway, I went into Boots to buy some cleanser before heading off to there. While I was there, I thought I'd take a look at some Barry M polishes because they do some great cremes and I spied sat in the corner, an empty space for this thing called Instant Nail Effects.

The illustration looked a lot like the effect that Shatter polishes give, so I was a bit bummed that it wasn't there. So I was heading for the tills, when I saw, in the Model's Own stand, a bottle of Barry M Instant Nail Effects. I also bought Barry M's Mint Green and Dusky Mauve, so here's a picture of Mint Green with Instant Nail Effects.

Excuse the lighting and my chipped index finger. Look how well it cracks! It works best on cremes but I have had some good results with certain glitter and shimmer polishes. Barry M now have Instant Nail Effects in White, Pink and Blue so I can't wait to try them out. This is a really great and cheap alternative to more expensive brands such as OPI and China Glaze.
